Police say they have charged a suspect with 2 burglaries that occurred in the Catonsville area.
The suspect, who police have identified as Jonathan Martin Eppard (24) of the 700 block of Edmondson Avenue was found to be in possession of property items that would “normally be kept in a shed”.
On February 23rd, a burglary of a shed was reported in the 400 block of Hilton Avenue. Power tools were taken during that specific incident. Prior to that, police say that on February 19th, 5 chainsaws were taken when a shed was burglarized in the unit block of Winters Ln. Additional property recovered may hint that Eppard was involved in more then just 2 burglaries. Police say they have not yet found the property owners of other items that were recovered.
In a media release, police said the following.
Burglary detectives believe that some of the owners of the recovered property may not even know that the property is missing. They are asking anyone who may have been the victim of a recent shed burglary in the Catonsville area to call them at 410-887-6296.
