Baltimore Co. teacher charged with sexual abuse

Baltimore County Police say they have charged a Baltimore County Public School teacher after learning of sexual abuse allegations. The charges listed include, sexual abuse of a minor, third degree sex offense, and second degree assault.
In a media release, police stated that on December 21st, 2014, they learned of sexual abuse allegations involving a teacher at General John Stricker Middle School in Dundalk.
According to investigators, the contact involving the student started in early December 2014 and involved kissing.
The teacher is said to have showed the student notes on his cell phone involving sexual in nature comments including “Do you do more than a kiss?” The teacher is also said to have made direct contact on other occasions with the student by poking the student in areas of their chest and on the student’s buttocks one or two times with his finger. Police state that they believe the last time that there was contact was on December 19th, 2014. No details were included about whether they believe he could be involved in other potentially unreported incidents at the school. The suspect was identified by police as quoted below, along with a booking photograph.

The teacher has been identified as 25-year-old Chad Aaron Hall of the Unit Block of Lincoln Woods Way 21128. He has been charged with sexual abuse of a minor, third degree sex offense, and second degree assault. He was released on $150,000 bail.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore county Police Crimes Against Children Unit.
