Baltimore County Police say that shortly before 12:30 pm this afternoon they responded to the 700 Block of Northrop Lane for a reported shooting.
On arrival they located 2 adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were declared deceased at the scene by EMS personnel.
Officials say that the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit will be working to determine if it was a targeted crime.
Update – 2/16 4:32 pm. Police now say that the incident that occurred earlier today is being investigated as a domestic related murder suicide. Additional details have not yet been released.

County Police have identified the man & woman who were involved in yesterday’s domestic related murder suicide. The man has been identified as 49 year old Muhammadu S. Igomigoh, of the 300 block of Shagbark Rd. The woman has been identified as 44 year old Nnenna L. Ogbonna, of the 700 block of Northrop Ln.
Police say that the investigation shows that Igomigoh shot Ogbanna, his estranged girlfriend, before shooting himself.
The two reportedly have two children together but no longer lived with each other, Detectives were able to determine that Igomigoh had visited Ogbonna’s home yesterday, and the two argued over financial issues.
Police confirmed that the handgun Igomigoh used was legally registered to him. Igomigoh also had a “carry” permit for the gun, which he “used in his employment as a security guard.”
In Maryland, a “Wear and Carry Permit” requires applicants to have a “good and substantial reason to wear, carry, or transport a handgun, such as finding that the permit is necessary as a reasonable precaution against danger.” among several other qualifications including “Based on an investigation, has not exhibited a propensity for violence or instability that may reasonably render the person’s possession of a handgun a danger to the person or others;” – info via mdsp.maryland.gov
